    Hi Bro,

Lately i was browesing ur blog and found it is more update.

I am planning to go to Bangkok by car consist of 4 person.

I need some advice on the safety, days or hours it takes to reach there and is there any chargers on highway?

How about the insurance if my car still on hire purchase and how it is diffrent owner?

Is thier highway like us or have exit and enter back at diffrent location.

On the way to bangkok what is your suggestion place to rest and stay. what the places that i could visit on the way?

    Hi Bob.. thanks for visiting.

The highway from Danok to Bangkok is free. except the elevated highway in Bangkok city.

I suggest you travel only in day time.

I just did a trip to Hua Hin ( 250KM south of Bangkok ) in last September and here are the summary.

Day 1 Left KL 5pm. Cross border and reach Danok 11pm
Day 2 left Danok 730am reach Hua Hin 630pm. that is 11 hours drive for about 700KM with stop every 2 hours.

and you need another 3-4 hours to reach Bangkok.

For your information, Hatyai to Bangkok is about 1000KM and if you push it hard you will reach there in 12 hours.

It is dual carriage highway from Hatyai to Bangkok like north south highway but it is open, meaning a lot of U turns, be very careful on this.

I am not sure about Ganesh park at Nakhon Nayok, from google map it is not far from Bangkok city.

Hope you enjoy your trip and please do share with us your journey.

I am looking for car(s) to drive to Thailand, perhaps huahin or chiangmai.

I just got back from Phuket krabi drive and I thoroughly love it. I am a driver and look forward to driving there again. my times are flexible.

would be nice if there are at least two cars going. essentially looking for like-minded persons who love driving explorations.

    Hi,

Thanks for visit the site, I am just trying to share..

Glad that you enjoy the drive and for those beach lover, Thailand is definitely much cheaper compare to Malaysia.

Recently I went to Langkawi, the island trip similar to what I had in Thailand cost 3 times more.

At the moment I do not have plan yet due to children’s commitment…

Do share with me your next trip..

If you are from KL, do drop me an email if you are free to meet up for a cup of tea…

    Best regards
